What is up with all these otherwise educated people who insist on pronouncing “Washington” as “Warshington”?? Karl Rove, who, regardless of your politics, you must admit is an educated, worldly guy. WTF is up with his, at this stage of his life, calling our capitol - where he served for 8 years! - “Warshington”?
And not to pick on Rove, LOTS of people say it.
What’s up with that, people? Do you realize how stupid and ill-educated it makes you sound?
