Nancy Grace is a disgrace

OK, I don’t often get riled up by TV personalities, but this is one woman who I can not stand. Unfortunately I often have to tolerate her, because I just moved and my internet is not set up yet so I have to go to my Grandmothers house to use hers. Her computer room is right next to the living room, and the TV is on the wall directly across from the door. Gram watches Nancy Grace religiously - I try to tune her out but her nails-on-chalkboard voice still shrills its way into my ears. I think women with strong personalities that are vocal in their beliefs and successful in their endeavors are great - good for them, sing it sister. Her however is one person that I would like to see sucker punched right in the kisser - maybe, just maybe, if they had to wire her jaw shut, she would have to shut up for 6 to 8 weeks. She is not a good representative of women with a voice - she is just plain annoying and aggravating. Her show is so slanted in her direction, that she does not give the opposition a chance. She is covering actual cases that are still in trial, but has her mind made up as to guilt. Period. Her opinion of innocent or guilty (although, I have never seen her with a position of innocence) is gospel (as far as she is concerned). She does not look at both sides of the case in a fair manner so does not accurately provide what the defense is arguing, at least not without tearing it down with her own opinions.
Then let me mention her guests. She will have speakers on her show, often for both sides, that will present interesting facts and opinions - I think. I am not sure because they usually only get out about 15 words before she interupts them so that she can verbally beat them with her vitriolic speeches of hate and contempt towards the accused. Sadly, Nancy Grace does not seem to make her judgements through any logical thinking or facts and evidence presented - she does it based on her personal hatred of the defendant. Perhaps she doesn’t like their hair, or the way they walk. I guess we will never know how Miss Twit makes her decisions. She is jury and judge, and clearly has herself on her own pedestal. It is a heavy pedestal, because it is full of shit - just like her.

I so agree that Nancy Grace is a “dis-grace” to Court TV. I cannot stand her or her program and quickly change the channel when she is on. I was visiting my Dad and we happened to have Court TV on. Nancy Grace came on and I immediately wanted to change the channel, however, my dad wanted to see her since I said she was so awful. He always tries to see the positive side of every argument. After watching her for about 20 minutes, he agreed that she showed evidence of biased opinions, obnoxious comments, snarly facial expressions, and insincere fakey sweetness to those guests that she agreed with. And that, FRIEND (gag), is my opinion of ole Nan.

You should read Nancy’s bio and learn about her background. I’m sure you will have a little more respect towards someone who dedicates thier life to insure justice, and by that, making this world a better and safer place.

I am well aware of Nancy’s background - I know that her fiance was murdered and that this is what inspired her to do what she is doing. Unfortunately, what she is doing is absolutely not justice. She condemns people before they are proven guilty. I don’t find this just at all. It is almost as if she is so guilty-hungry, that she is out to prove that everyone featured on her show is guilty. I feel for her and her situation - but she shouldn’t criminalize everyone that has had a finger so much as pointed in their direction. Using her show to showcase her grudge is not just.

Everyone on her show IS guilty! But your right, Why be so hard on those who rape and murder our children, and lets have a little more sympathy for the Scott Petersons of the world. I don’t see her as guilty-hungry. I think she is probably sick of all the crap that people do to each other.She doesn’t need me or any one to defend her. If she wasn’t getting her point across, We wouldn’t be here ranting.

Heh, I have seen many cases on her show where the jury was still out, and as a matter of fact - I seem to remember her pointing a firm finger at several suspects in the case of that missing girl in Aruba, who were later cleared. But according to Nancy, were without a doubt guilty. I am not saying that we should free the Scott Petersons of the world, but come on, lets not point definitive fingers when the trial is not even over. Sure, we all said before Scott’s trial was over, “he is guilty as hell” - but there is always parts of the case that are withheld from the public so that we can not for sure make a definitive statement, as Grace does. Again, she has experts from both sides of the case making valid points - but whomever is on the side that opposes her view she does not let get in a word edgewise, without cutting them off to counter with her “expert” opinion. She is not doing good out of her tragedy - John Walsh is someone who does good out of his tragedy and the two of them are not close to comparable. Quite frankly, I think she uses her tragedy for profit and fame - which further makes her a disgrace.

Straying away from your hatred of Nancy, here are three people who got a non guilty verdict at the end of their trials. Robert Blake, O.J. Simpson, and Ted Kennedy. A penny for your thoughts………

She apparently has been reprimanded in Georgia for ethical violations. I can believe that, since I find it hard to believe than any respectable judge would
put up with her antics in a courtroom. She is hateful, bitchy, narrow-minded, disrespectful, and sometimes just downright mean. She refuses to listen to
anything that she herself does not believe. She is verbally abusive, and accusatory. I stopped watching her a few months ago. I really just couldn’t take it
anymore. I now watch Jane Velez-Mitchell who, at least, treats her guests with respect. Also, I don’t believe she became an advocate for justice because her
“fiance” got murdered. She is totally insincere and uses the tragedy of his loss to make herself look good. Well, she really does need all the help she can
get. . . and God help her husband!!!

Nancy Grace is a total “disgrace”. Nancy Grace is a toxic personality. Nancy Grace has created a situation that identifies HLN with “tabloid TV” Not unlike the “National enquirer”. Nancy Grace evidently has “issues” to put it nicely. Get her off our airways or at the very least teach her what “unbiased” journalism really is. Nancy Grace as a “journalist” is a joke.
Her emotional an biased opionions feed into the”pack” mentality. I am seriously thinking “why are we wasting our money on cable news when it smacks of Tabloid journalism” ? Excuse me, but cable TV is already too expensive as it is, but for the priviledge of having to pay for cable TV. we also must be assaulted by the “opinions” and rantings of Nancy Grace, give me a break !!! I want to hear Unbiased, Intelligent commentary, not opininated, stupidity and hatefilled rhetoric by this person. I am a paying customer, I have my own opionions and I just don’t understand why such a person can “spew” his/her own tainted opionions. . If I were only interested in the “baser” lower intellectual, “crap” I would just purchase a copy of the National Enquier. Send this “lady” of questionable intellect back to where she belongs. If I have to pay hefty fees for Cabel News, I would prefer that Nancy Grace would not be a part of the program.
Why is controversy and sensationlism so important to your creative deveopment staff. We Americans are not so stupid as to accept this person as the “voice of reason ” for the American public.
She may have a law degree but, that in and of itself does not quarantee nor verify that she has “common sense”. She reinforces that on every episode, No common sense.
I do not wish that any part of my monthly charges contribute in any way to the salary of this person.
I just want to state my case, my opinio ( as a paying customer)get with the program, In my opinon she is an insult and an affrontation to my intelligence. I don’t have to participat in cable Telivision, there are alternatives. I have a voice and I want to be heard.

This is the 6th staright day of her slobbering over Michael Jacksons death while there are cases ofmissing children out there. Plus she allbut pronouncedhim guilty of child molestation, DUH, when he was on trial. This proves she cares about no one but herself. What a disgrace. She blabbers on about what will happento the million dollar trust fund kisds while there are missing kids out there beingraped and tortured, but then again they are not going to bring in ratings to the narcissitic piece of scum, can not court TV get a real honest caring person to help those who need it???????

I saw her show and now I ask kids to behave or this woman - Nancy Grace- will come. Her videos, her pictures are great to scare any body specially kids. She defines words like vile, vamp, the b word etc. Oh my what a disgrace!!

I realize this post comes much later than the others…But she makes me mad every single time I see her. I honestly believe the poor dear may have acquired her degree through less-then-desirable means… She has a new show “Swift Justice”. This should be named “Bull**** I Decide Based on Who I Like More”. She completely ignores obvious laws and legal requirements in her “swift justice”.
Example: A couple divorced and the ex-husband was suing for the ring he payed for. (the ring is automatically to be returned to purchaser. this is high school level legal stuff guys, come on!) And, instead of decided what happens based on any legal reasoning she begins to discuss(or degrade rather) the man’s character with his ex-wife. After a good bit of them two bad-mouthing this young man(who obviously was not the brightest crayon in the box, and was completely unarmed in this verbal assault) she decided he didn’t get anything and sent him home with nothing but a hurt ego.

Actually, while I agree with just about everything you say, the ring does *not* go back to the purchaser. Legally speaking, the ring was a gift, and no court in the country would go against this very established rule of law. This is basic law school level stuff guys, come on!

Thank you. And I thought I was the only one. I can’t stand her. She’s so full of herself, her show is not based on facts, its based on her opinions. She must hang out with Sarah Palin. She never let’s anyone talk when it actually matters because she doesn’t give a damn, and it really pisses me off. And I’m sick of people calling in and congratulating her on her birth, she’s and OLD woman who’s kids when they’re 20 will make her a GRANDMOTHER at 70. plus everyone has kids, why are hers so damn special? I’m sick of hearing about Natalee Holloway in Aruba. I feel for the Holloway family, it’s unfortunate, but I visit Aruba every year and love the island and love the people. I recommened people visit the island every year. Don’t listen to Nancy’s selfish feelings about and island she’s never visited or know anything about Dutch law in this case and tell Americans and Canadians not to visit the island. Don’t be foolish. Visit the island. Best island in the carribbean. You’ll love it. Nancy Grace is full of crap ALL the time. I don’t know how she still has her own show, she’s so iggnorant.

Bombshell tonight!! Ew, ew and ew, gag. This show makes me cringe. I do watch it but only to get highlights of the Casey Anthony case. Most of the time I just turn it off because Nancy is a liar and spins and spins and spins a story while twisting facts around. Jane-Velez is ok …. she also gets annoying when she gives her bull dog face when she says… “and-we-will-be-right-back.” And Nancy with her disgusting hateful glare. Ahhhhh …. change the channel! Shes is a disgrace to the news world. Actually, all HLN reporters are annoying. HLN = tabloid news. The only one I can tolerate is Dr. Drew. And that guy who looks like the chef Emril, in the morning.

What do you think was Nancy Grace’s gut reaction when she heard about Caylee Anthony being missing? Oh, no, what if they find her kidnapper and it turns out to be the same guy who took Trenton Duckett?! Then I am really screwed. Remember Melinda Duckett shot herself after her appearance on the Nancy Grace Show. I mean right after; the same day! No, she did not leave a confession in her suicide note. So, when Caylee went missing, she was the next high-profile case of a toddler being missing in Florida. There are still a lot of questions yet to be answered about the death of Caylee Anthony and the investigation into her disappearance and death. But there is a whole other question, because something seems really fishy when you remember Melinda Duckett. Nancy Grace got every picture and video there was of Caylee and showed them over and over and stirred her audience up to just about pitchfork level. And she had an interview with Judge Strickland. How else did she involve herself in this case?! Did the state of Florida move toward an early, ill-prepared prosecution? Everything the case was built on crumbled. Watching Court TV one might have gotten the impression there were 84 chloroform searches. Then Bradley himself said they were bogus and didn’t he flee to Canada. Now, with all the probation non-sense, aren’t they really conspiring in their “hearts” to get Casey Anthony killed. They showed us they lost their souls already. They made it personal and now they are getting Casey Anthony killed for ratings. I do believe that. Did they over-charge her because of public pressure that was really the Nancy Grace factor? Why is it that Nancy Grace thinks George can do no wrong? Is there any resemblance between Caylee and the Bush family or John David? I am just trying to understand why this case is so weird. Everybody says Casey is weird, but it is strange beyond her. The police did not want to find the body. It was underwater? So, is the Green River and they sent in divers.
