I hate Freecycle

I was a moderator for this total joke of an organization. Myself and my best friend both volunteered hours of our time for nearly a year keeping the boards free from spam and posts that were against the rules. The owner wasn’t around-she abandoned the group. I emailed her numerous times and got no response. I then emailed the “national” Freecycle and told them what was going on. They were totally unhelpful. I then started a group similar to Freecycle, but without all those idiotic rules. I advertised my group on Freecycle- which was a great idea since ppl could post all the things that we were constatly deleting or rejecting on our new site. The owner finds out that I complained about her and bans me and my friend from Freecycle! I have come to see that this organization is about egos. It isn’t about helping the community while keeping waste out of the landfills. I hate that b**** and I hate her stupid group. I give her a hard time every chance I get! HA HA she’s all like “oh my house foreclosed and that’s why I wasn’t around….” who cares loser. You could have told me- I would have understood and wouldn’t have gone above your head. FREECYCLE SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have to agree. I made a mistake and posted an item with a price when I’d meant to publish it in CheapCycle. I immediately went in and deleted the posting and apologized for my actions.
The moderator emailed me saying my post, though I deleted it, was strike one and my apology was strike two. She’s banned me from the group permanently now.
Some freecycle moderators have gotten WAY too big for their britches. I’ll never be part of Freecycle again.

stupid moderators on freecycle I did not even post for sale I replied to someone saying hey
I paid alot of money for this item I don’t need it but I want $20. if you want it.
She cried to the moderator and said ooww he trying to sell me somethine I paid over $100 plus
tax and the item was in good shape.. I was nice and professional.
NORMAL person would say no thank you.. and ps you are not suppose to offer stuff for sale.
no instead they cried like a bit………… so I emailed her back and called her a b.. word

I have built an alternative that is free from bogus moderators, b.s. and crap, its called freenapkin.com (let me know if anyone is wanting to help me)
