i don’t get why people put stuff on there and say first come first serve, because you go there and the stuff you needed is gone because people that don’t need it watch the website and as soon as someone post stuff in their frontyard they come and get it to resell it i mean come on do you really need the stuff and make other people waste the gas to go and get something that is not there, the people that give the stuff away need to repost that it is gone as soon as it’s gone instead of saying it’s gone a few days later, and they never e-mail you back when you ask for something you need and say sorry it’s gone but when you go and post something everyone and their mother wants it but atleast i have the respect to e-mail them all back when it was gone.

I know that you must be stalling on actually getting my computer fixed, Mr. IT Guy. Is it because you like to see my face, glaring at you, three times a week? I notice how vehemently you defend Vista at the slightest insinuation that the “upgrade” to “Vista-piece-o-shita” has caused all of these problems (problems that were not there when I was on good ole’ XP). Is this just your masked passion for me? I also can’t help but notice the surprise on your face everytime I mention that Vista is not recognizing my password, even though you have apparently fixed this problem at least 4 times. Yet, everytime it doesnt take my password, is like the first time for you. You seem to get “Vistamnesia” each time it happens. I am amused at your childlike naivete; it is cute. I also love the smug looks that I get from you everytime I tell you that my computer keeps booting me off; but stays up for you. Its like you and my computer have this intimate language between the two of you - I am jealous. I wish I could partake in this special computer relationship; it could be like an IT threesome. Isn’t that your fantasy? I could drape myself in computer cords, with a cordless electric-mouse bikini top, and a stragetically placed mousepad. Maybe, if you are really good, and actually finally gain me access to my S-drive, I will put my hair in two buns like Princess Leia. Oh! I’m sorry; have I offended you? I just assumed that since you are a technology-nerd that you have an inherent love of Star Wars. Perhaps you are more the Renaissance Fair-type? Come to think of it; I can see you draped in colorful peasant clothing, holding an oversized turkey leg.

Well, Mr. IT Guy - I’d really love to finish this rant, but I just heard the music in my iTunes skip, which is usually the precursor to my computer freezing up on me. Now I have the opportunity to call you again, and hear your exasperated voice on the other end of the phone as you manage to make it my fault that my computer is having problems yet again; why do you hurt me so? How much longer must we play this game of cat-and-mouse? I may just get impatient and finally call the Geek Squad for some good old fashioned phone sex.

I was a member of Freecycle for a long time. I always was trying to post things to give away to people, and to find things to help out my needy neighbors.
The moderators, are nothing but jokes. They belittle everyone. If you make the smallest mistake while offering or asking for an item, you would get emailed at least 3 times to be told how idiotic you are, and how you will have to re-read the rules, be put on permanent moderation, all because I forgot to add in my town name?!

Thanks to years of frustration with the Westminster MD Freecycle group, I have given up, and started my own thing, to truly help people, with no crazy or stupid rules.

And I found out it is not just me - I have talked with at least 20 members of the local freecycle and they all dislike the moderators and their actions as well. Please tell me why adults need to be moderated like this?? We started calling them the Freecycle Nazis. No post for you!

This is why we should not make a practice of trapping and keeping wild animals. THEY ARE WILD. They are unpredictable, and they generally get pissed off when they are forced in these “habitats” that are completely counter-intuitive to the way that they are programed to live and survive.
We can say that it is for “research”, or for “education”, but the truth of the matter is that it is for the almighty buck. There are plenty of facilities, worldwide, that are dedicated to truly studying, helping, and preserving the many species with whom we share this planet. They are facilities run with people that are highly trained, and highly skilled at what they do. And yes, one could argue that so are the employees at the zoo, such as San Francisco. But let’s face it, facilities and organizations that are honestly geared towards preserving and furthering the advancement of these animals operate in a much different way; they study from afar, they gather information when necessary, they sedate, and then treat, and then release these animals. Because how can we possibly, truly, understand them, if not in their natural environment?
And yes, some need to be kept for fertilization to prevent those species that we have so carelessly caused to become endagered from facing extinction - but this does not ,and should not, include parading them around like circus monkey’s for the public to see. Locking them in these so-called habitats that apparently simulate the plains of Africa, and the likes, in the middle of major metropolitan city. And this is the second offense by the San Francisco zoo in one year (the first being a zookeeper being seriously lacerated by a tiger in captivity).
But we continue to infringe on these magnificent creatures, rather than try to preserve them. We put them on display so that nosy tourists, and bored looky-lou’s can come and point and snap photos, and shout, and throw things, or just simply gawk, at these animals whose every instict tell them that they should be in survival mode. No matter how early of an age that you get them, even if they were birthed at the zoo, they are still wild animals and are unpredictable. Case in point - Sigfrued and Roy!
But in the end, the inevitable human error prevails, and one of these creatures gets out and nature takes it course, and instict kicks in, and the animal does what thousands, to millions, of years of hard-wiring tells them to do; and in the end, it gets killed for simply doing what it knows that it is supposed to do. And we shake our heads and mourn the loss of the people killed in its wake. Yet we never mourn the loss of that animals life, spirit, and right to live freely in the capacity in which it was meant to. Another human gawker is dead. Another innocent zoo inmate is as well.

I just turned 17 i was with this guy for 3 years and everything was perfect well we broke up but still stayed friends, so as our friendship was getting serious we decide to have sex,haha what was i thinking. I told him i was pregnant and he laughed he said ya ha what ever then he seen the sonograms and knew it was no joke. He ignored me for almost 5 months and started dating this psycho bit**. She like tried to commit sucide you know how lil 14 year old girls are. now that the baby is 5 months he has not seen her or asked bout her. I go to high school with him i pass him in the hall every day and he don’t say shit. He is a broke as* pussy and he is bout to turn 18 fu**ing a 14 year old how sick can you be really. Now i’m a rasiing a baby going to high school and college trying to find a second job to afford my daughter really when will maryland crack down on child support I didn’t make this baby by myself i shouldn’t have to pay for her myself.

ohk. so we just started high school this year and it seems like all of our friends are changing, and not for the better!! we have this friend that we just found out has turned bi-sexual. she has madeout with other girls from our school and felt them up. it bothers us deeply because we change in front of her in the locker room and we’ve stayed at her house and changed and even slept in the same bed as her and we knew none of this. we dont mean to offend anyone but we just aren’t used to our friends changing that drastically.

okay this is the continueation of the first story i was posting at first. okay i was at my after school program and this dude was like “what r u reading” , me being stupid i forgot to cover the tittle. then all of a sudden everyone started to look at me. i had to think of a lie and i thougt it up quick then i said my library told me to read it . that was a stupid lie but i dint have enough time. i hate him for calling me out like that and embarising me. now every boy in making waves has an idea that i am gay. although i am i dont them to know a bout it. thank u for listining.

I’ll tell you my story. I was sort of seeing this guy, Chris for a couple months. Blahblahblah, I ended up pregnant. He seemed really nice, I was stupid, oops. I was 20 years old. Just turned 21 now. So, I tell him. He proceeds to tellme that I am GOING to get an abortion!!! Oh really? Well f*** you! I tell him I’m keeping the child! He tells me, “Oh, I am not ready to be a dad. Sorry.” He’s f***ing 27 years old, grow the f*** up!!!!!!!!!!!! He tells me all he can afford for support is $100 a MONTH!!!! I DON’T THINK SO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He is a friggin mechanic at a big car dealership here in Maine, I know he makes $17.50/hr, because my uncle is best friends with his boss! This a-hole lives with his parents and has to pay NO F***ING BILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And here I am, pulling in $8.50/hr, granted I live with my parents but I have a crapload of bills AND I’ll be taking care of this baby alone AND I have Dr. bills AND I have to take time off from work, which I am not paid for AND I have no sick/vacation time built up!!!!!! GRRRRR!!!!!!!! So this a-hole is now deciding to ignore me completely! But I saw him at Advanced Auto Parts in LEwiston and he was with some chick and I was so mad because he can just do whatever the f*** he wants and f*** whoever the f*** he wants but I have to grow the hell up and be an adult! I hate him so much that it makes me numb to all my other feelings. Except the love I have for my child. Thanks for listening.
