The middle class is gone. Global warming is a death sentence. The White House is full of criminals who a least should be thrown out of there and impeached and probably FAR worse justice should be applied to them. We need a statesman-like visionary to guide us through this and we need them as of September 2001 or before then and will we be able to survive an administration so vile as to wreck the environment, the military, our standing and reputation in the world and send 3,500 of our children to their graves, torture with impunity, rendition maybe innocents (more...)

Teachers Make Up Fake Gunman Attack to Scare Elementary School Students - and It Works - WTF Were They Thinking??

I was absolutely *stunned* today to read this headline: "Teachers Stage Fake Gunman Attack on Sixth-Graders" It happened in Murfreesboro, Tennessee The gist of it, according to CNN, was this: Staff members of the school in Murfreesboro TN convinced nearly 70 children that there was a gunman on the loose, while they were out on a field trip. Not only did the teachers stage this mock attack, but they told the children that "it was not a drill," as, and I quote, "the children cried and hid under tables." Four U.S. Citizen Children Deported Because of Lawyer’s Misdeeds

You know, 98% of the lawyers out there... make the rest of us look really, really bad! Here's just one more example - a heart-wrenching one. A couple in Palo Alto, California - Isabel Aguirre and her husband Pedro Ramirez - a couple who had lived there for more than 20 years - having moved from their native Mexico in 1985, were deported following a Federal raid. Because of this, their four children, all U.S. citizens, were faced with being deported with their parents, or going into foster care. The kicker? How about if we take this White House, put them on trial for conspiracy, defrauding the public, torture, negligent homicide, graft, conspiracy to defraud the public and many other on going crimes against the Constitution, their OATH of Office and moral truthfulness. You know IGNORANCE of the law is not innocence of it. They are still CULPABLE for ALL their mayhem AND should be held accountable for destroying our way of life by creating an office that is criminal in its' operation and murderous in its' actions. I recently wrote the following to Nancy Grace reference a recent episode of her horrible show on CNN: I write to comment on the recent Nancy Grace Show (I believe it was May 29) about the young woman found strangled in her dorm. Nancy began the most vulgar description of the amount of time it takes to strangle someone to death, including how the victim's eyes, and I quote, "...bulged out..."; Miss Grace even went so far as to clamp her hand around her wrist, describing how the build-up of blood is so full of pressure and painful. How well do anti-spam laws work? One of my recent experiences might shed some light on how such laws actually play out in front of judges. The short version: Laws can help, but they need to be pretty airtight, to take into account the fact that judges might be very hostile to people bringing these cases, probably for three reasons: (1) The law requires you to make a quasi-legal argument, and many judges, after trudging through years in law school and decades as a lawyer, resent people walking in off the street and making legal arguments; (2) Many judges don't use e-mail (more...)

There has been a lot in the press today about how the doctors hired to oversee Michael Angelo Morales' execution, to make sure that he didn't suffer crushing agony during his lethal injection, refused to carry out their task, saying that it was unethical for them, and went against the Hippocratic oath. They could have done it, technically and medically speaking, but it would be wrong, they said. The move by the doctors forced a delay in the execution, already delayed by a court ruling that the lethal injection may be cruel and unusual punishment, as there is ample evidence (more...)

OK, I don't often get riled up by TV personalities, but this is one woman who I can not stand. Unfortunately I often have to tolerate her, because I just moved and my internet is not set up yet so I have to go to my Grandmothers house to use hers. Her computer room is right next to the living room, and the TV is on the wall directly across from the door. Gram watches Nancy Grace religiously - I try to tune her out but her nails-on-chalkboard voice still shrills its way into my ears. I think women (more...)

This is a rant which has been a long time in coming. That's because I see it nearly every day. You see, I subscribe to the Operation Amber mailing list, and so I see each and every one of the Amber Alerts which go out. That's pretty amazing to think about, isn't it? That there are Amber Alerts every single day. And that's the issue. And that's what this rant is about. Perhaps even the average citizen could notice it, but being a former father's rights attorney, I particularly recognize it. Wal-Mart Being Sued for Failing to Cater to Stupid People Who Don’t Use Contraception!

Can you believe it? Women in the state of Massachusetts are suing Walmart for failing to carry the "morning after" contraception pill in their pharmacies. In other words, these women are suing Wal-Mart because Walmart has refused to carry contraception for stupid people - i.e. something to take in the morning when they realize "oh darn, I did it, and didn't use contraception. Silly me." Now, this is NOT a rant about "right to choose" versus "right to life" or anything else like that. There are any number of places that a woman who really needs a "morning after" (more...)
